Single Day Events – 1 lifeguard to every 15 patrons. If there are more than 15 patrons and the visibility of the lifeguard is hindered in any way, the lifeguard on duty may call for another lifeguard or limit the number of patrons allowed in the Swimming pool. All events are responsible for providing a chair for the lifeguard to use which has full visibility of the pool.
Pool Rules
1. Please obey all lifeguard’s instruction on spa, pool and any slides. Use of a whistle will be used to get all patrons attention.
2. Non-swimmers should wear a life jacket all times and disclose that they are unable to swim to a lifeguard.
3. No Belligerent behavior which includes backflips, somersaults or other trick dives.
4. Per health and wellness requirements the presence of any accidental fecal release (AFR) in water with swimmers requires an immediate pool closure and contact to your pool service to immediately “shock” or deal with the biohazard that has occurred in the water. Lifeguards are not trained to deal with “AFRs, biohazard situations, or other pool cleaning related issues that may arise at your pool.
5. Any parties lasting after sunset must have a pool light turned on in the pool and spa (if applicable) area(s) for the safety of guests.
6. No sleeping on the pool deck under any circumstances. Patrons will be woken up and/or asked to leave.
7. Any children or adults who cannot swim should not enter the water, regardless if a lifeguard is on duty or not. It is the responsibility of the host to verify the swim ability of any guests present at their event, not the lifeguards.
